Avocado, apple and Carrot Puree

Avocado, apple and Carrot Puree suitable from 6 months old

Creamy Avocado, carrot & Apple puree

my son loved it and it was so creamy! It’s great for first foods.

– 3-4 organic carrots
– 1 ripe avocado
– 1 sweet organic apple
– Some plantbased fat. (Not olive oil though due to it’s strong flavor)

1. Peel and steam the carrot and apples (you Can also leave the peel on the apple) about 10 min.

2. When they’re cooked add them into a bowl.

3. Add some plant based fat and blend into a puree. And serve.

*Always consult your pediatrician about when to introduce solid food.

Love this recipe! It’s cetarinly in the spirit of my new blog I just started, Mamacado. I’ve used avocados frequently in my son’s diet to make sure he gets enough healthy fats since he’s allergic to dairy. I will try this recipe. thanks!

Sounds good! Quick question – is this freezable?

I don’t remember if i froze it, but the thing is that avocado turns brownish when being frozen but it is completely edible. so based on every ingredient it should be freezable.
