This super green bean baby purée was so delicious and easy to make. Mixing in some fruit with other produce gives the puree sometimes a lighter texture that doesn’t make the food too heavy.
As butter beans and other legumes contains a lot of protein they are often the source and cause of gassiness so if your baby has a sensitive tummy you might want to wait to introduce these a little more.
I know a lot of babies doesn’t have any complications eating beans so it’s a question of what suits your baby best.
1 handful of green beans
1 cup of preboiled butter beans or organic canned butter beans for a quicker option. I used canned.
1 tsp of fat of your choice
1. Peel the pear (optional) and cut both ends of the green beans and wash.
2. Steam the produce for 10-12 minutes.
3. Purée everything with a blender and thin it out with some of its own boil water where all the nutrients lays and serve.
