Easy Oven-baked crispy Haloumi and dill spring rolls [12m+]I’d serve this.

My toddler and the rest of the family loved these crispy spring rolls! super delicious as a side dish and great for those tiny fingers to grasp for self-feeding.

Ingredients:
– Haloumi cheese
– 1 handful of fresh dill
– Filo pastry (which are usually thinner than the usual pastry and therefore more suitable for baking)
– Oil to pensel with (not olive oil though as it has a strong flavor)

Method:

1. Chop the dill and cheese in a food processer until finely chopped

2.Lay out a filo sheet and spoon in some of mixure and fold in the 1 inch of the sides of the filo sheet and then fold down the 1 inch at the top, you should now be able to gently roll the in the pastry to form a sausage shape. dip the end with water so that it can close. (Read the instruction on the package)

3. pensel the spring rolls on both sides with oil and insert the baking dish in a preheated 200C oven for 20-30 min. turn the spring rolls once they turn golden brown on the surface.

They can be served warm or cold and they are addictive!

Just for your info you can also fry them which makes them taste even better but I do bake them for my son since it’s healthier.
