Organic Avocado Smoothie

This is a very filling avocado smoothie, suitable for babies and toddler’s from the age 9-months + due to the acid in the orange, I would say use your judgement, you know your baby better. But if you would like to use this recipe ealier you can easily omit the orange and replace it with breast milk or liquid formula or even coconut milk or coconut water, thats a big hit at home too.

Another great thing is to make a big portion of this smoothie and freeze the smoothies in reusable pouches that are suitable for freezing. That way you will always have a healthy snack in hand everyday.  Simply take one out everyday from the freezer and put it in the fridge let it defrost over night and just serve it when your little one needs something to snack on. I love to use pouches when we go for a walk with the stroller, it is so easy to handle and great on the go.
