Prunes, blueberry & Apple purée.
I’d serve this to my son at [6m+] specially if he was constipated.
-1/2 cup of blueberries
-3-4 Pc of prunes
– 3 peeled apples.
– Plant based fat like rapeseed oil, sunflower oil ect.
All organic. But FYI plums and prunes is one of the foods that is least contaminated with pesticides so buying them organic is not necessary.
1. Peel, core and cut the apples, then steam them for about 10-15 min.
2. Boil the prunes in some water for about 5 min or until they get a little swollen.
3. Blend the ingredients with a little of the boil water. Add some plant based fat and serve. Simple and nutritious
Serves about 3 portions.
I’d stick to more vegetables at the beginning so that my son don’t get used to sweet fruit purées, but there’s no problem giving them it.
