Late summer organic vanilla, figs and apple baby food purée. Up your apple sauce game with this easy purée. Use it as a topping to your child’s morning porridge, in smoothies, toss in some oats or simply enjoy as it is
Core and cut the produce. Place the ingredients except the coconut butter in a pot with tiny bit of water, something that covers the bottom of the pot. Boil for about 10-13 minutes or until the apples are well cooked.
Remove the vanilla stick, add the fat and blend the rest of the ingredients all together into a smooth consistency, add liquid of choice to smooth it out if needed.
Pour into baby food containers and allow it to cool.
Place in the freezer up to 3 months and reheat whenever you want. You can place it in the fridge overnight, reheat it in a sauce pan on low heat
and just enjoy!
